What is this website for?

It explains the bonds we place for contractors and businesses in California, Oregon, and Arizona, and it gives you two ways to reach us: the office line and a quote request form. That is the whole purpose of the site.

Does sending the quote form put a bond in place?

No. A quote request is a request. It is not an application, not an offer, not a binder, and not coverage. A bond is in place only after underwriting is finished, the premium is paid, and you have written confirmation from us. Until then, assume you have no bond.

Is anything on this site legal or financial advice?

No. Bond amounts, filing rules, and deadlines are set by state agencies, licensing boards, and project owners, and they change. Use the agency notice you were handed as the controlling document, and check the agency links on this site for current rules. If your situation needs a lawyer or an accountant, hire one.

Who do the external links belong to?

Links on this site point to state agencies such as the California licensing board, the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Those sites belong to those agencies. We do not control them, we do not maintain them, and their content can change without notice to us.

What if the website and a signed document disagree?

The signed document wins. Your bond form, the surety agreement, and any written confirmation from us control over anything written on this website. Pages here are kept current as of the review date at the bottom, and they can change.
